Our Story
Meridian General Contracting Inc is the combination of all of our companies from the past three decades. Our various companies have been Home Builders, Commercial General Contractors, and Real Estate Developers.
In the 1980s Frye Properties developed duplexes. In the 1990s Breckinridge Custom Homes was a Home Builder. Also in the 1990s, Frye General Contracting was a bonded commercial general contractor. In the 2000s while Breckinridge and Frye General Contracting continued, Frye Capital, Advent Structural Contracting and Breckinridge Custom Homes U.S. Virgin Islands were founded. Frye Capital developed commercial real estate. Advent Structural Contracting was a bonded commercial concrete and masonry contractor. Breckinridge Custom Homes U.S. Virgin Islands was a St John USVI based high-end luxury home builder.
All of these companies were headed by Mr. Kelly Frye as President or Managing Member.
Breckinridge Custom Homes U.S. Virgin Islands was sold in January of 2007. During the Great Recession, Mr. Frye was fortunate enough to be able to take a multi-year sabbatical.
As the construction and real estate markets recovered, Mr. Frye purchased real estate to develop into apartment home communities.
Meridian General Contracting Inc was founded to develop and construct multi-family communities in the state of Florida. Mr. Kelly Frye serves as its President. Additionally, Mr. Frye is a principal Investor in the communities developed by Meridian General Contracting Inc.
